Robyn Klasner

Registered Social Worker, Relationship Counselling, Divorce Counselling, Mediation

Experiencing life challenges and turbulence can be overwhelming and daunting at times. Exploring emotions and uncovering the depth of the inner psyche can also be challenging when we are feeling paralyzed, stunted, stuck or confused. Building a therapeutic relationship based on the foundation of trust, void of judgment, guilt, shame and remorse can help us heal our past wounds. Therapy is an opportunity to have a safe holding environment to explore who you really are, why you are that way, and who you would like to become. Indeed, engaging in therapy is an intense process that can take time to enter into rejuvenated levels of healing, positivity, transformation and self-growth. It is Robyn’s passion to guide her clients to reclaim their universal birthright which may feel dormant at times but that is unbridled love and happiness.  We often find ourselves deprived of joy and happiness because of false beliefs, insecurities, unrealistic expectations and incredulous stress about our future. The therapeutic space is paramount to build ourselves from the inside out empowering you to create change in your life. Robyn believes that everyone has an innate strength and capability to capitalize and foster personal goals while accessing intrinsic resources. Her approach is holistic and is very much focused on her client’s strengths in an inclusive framework to cater to and address their individual concerns in a meaningful and helpful way.

Robyn has a Masters of Clinical Social Work Degree from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work.  She has ample clinical experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups. Robyn approaches therapy from a humanistic perspective with person-centered therapy, incorporating mindfulness meditation, as well as writing and art healing. Her areas of interest in therapy include family systems, EFT, trauma, anxiety, compassion-focused therapy, depression, codependency, narcissistic wounding, mindfulness practices, domestic violence, and substance abuse. Robyn is a licensed Master of Social Work in the state of New York and a Registered Social Worker through the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers.
