Understand your bond, together
Love in Focus is a couples therapy group built on attachment theory, a widely used framework for understanding how couples connect. Our attachment style shapes how we engage in marriage and long-term relationships, often in ways we never consciously chose.
Maybe you have tried this kind of work before and change has felt slow. For many couples, a group offers something a private room cannot, where shared understanding and support help the work go deeper. We create an environment of safety and support where you can explore how attachment dynamics shape your relationship.
You will leave with evidence-based tools and strategies to examine the interactions in your relationship, so you can face love’s biggest challenges and become more resilient as a couple. Prefer private sessions? Explore couples therapy or marriage and relationship therapy.
Love in Focus is a therapist-led group where couples learn how attachment shapes their relationship, practise new ways of connecting, and find support in knowing they are not the only ones working through this.
Inside the group
Each gathering weaves learning, conversation and reflection so that what you discover translates into how you actually relate at home.

Your questions about the couples group, answered
What is the Love in Focus couples group?
Love in Focus is a therapist-led couples group built on attachment theory, a widely used model in couples therapy. It helps couples understand how their attachment styles shape the way they connect, so they can work through conflict and rebuild a healthy foundation of love and understanding.
Why join a group instead of one-on-one couples therapy?
Both are valuable, and many couples do both. In a group, you see that most couples face similar struggles, which eases shame and isolation. For many couples, the shared support of a group adds something a private room cannot, and it can deepen what you learn together.
What happens in the group sessions?
Sessions blend psychoeducation on attachment theory, guided group discussions, and reflective tasks that help you understand yourself and your partner. Throughout, our therapists offer support, guidance and compassion to help you resolve conflicts, repair ruptures, and reestablish a healthy foundation.
Who is the group for?
The group is for couples in a marriage or long-term relationship who want to understand their patterns and grow together. It can be a good fit whether you are working through a rough patch or simply want to build a stronger, more resilient bond. If you have tried couples therapy before and still feel stuck, a group may offer something new.
