Meet Cristian
You’ve been carrying a lot on your own, and it’s getting harder to pretend you’re fine.
Maybe you’re overwhelmed by stress, disconnected from your partner, relying on unhealthy ways to cope, or wondering why the same patterns keep repeating themselves. You want things to change and you’re not sure where to start. Therapy gives you somewhere to slow down and understand what is really happening, so you can start moving forward with purpose.
I work with adults and couples dealing with relationship challenges, addiction, anxiety, stress, and major life transitions. I have a special interest in supporting men who have spent years believing they need to handle everything alone. Together we look at the patterns keeping you stuck, work on strengthening your relationships, and build practical strategies that hold up in daily life.
My approach is honest, collaborative, and focused on real life. Therapy should help you understand yourself better while giving you tools that work outside the therapy room. Whether we’re working through addiction, improving communication with your partner, rebuilding trust, or learning healthier ways to manage emotions, our work will be guided by your goals and what matters most to you.
My approach
My work draws from evidence-based approaches, including: Addiction Counselling, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy and Relapse Prevention.
Every therapy plan is built around your own experiences, strengths, and goals, because meaningful change rarely comes from following a formula.
My background
I’ve worked with adults, couples, and individuals experiencing addiction and the emotional challenges that tend to come with it. That work convinced me that lasting change doesn’t come from willpower alone. It comes from understanding yourself and having the right support while you build healthier ways of coping.
A little about me
Growth begins with honesty, the kind you have with yourself and with the people you care about. Outside of therapy I spend time with family and stay active, and I keep learning so I can provide the best care possible. That is a reminder that meaningful change comes down to a willingness to take the next step.
Handling everything alone has probably cost you more than you let on. That is where we start, and the old patterns and the life you want come after that.
