Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure why certain patterns keep showing up in your life? Maybe you feel disconnected from yourself or others, or like your reactions don’t always make sense, even when you try to “think” your way through them. Many people come to therapy knowing something feels off, but not yet having the words for it.

I’ve experienced this myself, which became the catalyst for my career change into psychotherapy. I come from a big family, each of us shaped in different ways by mental illness, addiction, and generational trauma. Alongside my background in child development and my study of attachment theory, I became deeply curious about human nature and how we adapt, survive, and heal. This is why I integrate Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Polyvagal Theory to help gently rewrite the scripts your body has learned to carry. I believe that being met authentically and consistently by another human being is healing in itself, especially when your nervous system has learned to expect otherwise. These patterns can show up as depression, anxiety, anger, burnout, or ongoing nervous system dysregulation.

Therapy with me is a slow and gentle process. We begin by building trust together, and over time you’ll learn how to build trust within yourself. We start with telling your story and making connections, while developing coping tools to support nervous system regulation and ease day-to-day symptoms. As safety grows, we work with the body and mind to move through triggers and trauma responses. Over time, this can lead to greater regulation, deeper insight, and more meaningful connection with yourself and with others.
