Elnaz is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. With over two years of experience, Elnaz has worked in rehabilitation centers and a child play therapy center, providing support to Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) clients, families, couples, and children. She specializes in working with children through play and art therapy, helping those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), anxiety, and general behavioral concerns.
Elnaz is passionate about creating a nurturing and non-judgmental therapeutic environment where clients can heal at their own pace. She integrates evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), along with creative interventions for children, to meet each client where they are emotionally and mentally. Her approach fosters a strong therapeutic relationship that helps clients overcome feelings of being stuck and empowers them to move forward with confidence, hope, and clarity.
In addition to her work with children, Elnaz has extensive experience supporting couples and families who are navigating the aftermath of high-trauma incidents, adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She provides a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their challenges and make meaningful progress in their healing journey.
