Seeking therapy can feel daunting, especially when you’re unsure where to start. If you’re looking for guidance, validation, or simply someone to help you make sense of your emotions, beliefs, and values, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to help you understand yourself better and create a path toward personal growth that feels authentic and empowering.
A Collaborative, Client-Centered Approach
I believe that therapy is a personal journey, and it’s important to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore your thoughts and emotions. I take an individualized, strengths-based approach to therapy, tailoring each session to your unique experiences and goals. Together, we’ll identify the tools and strategies that best fit your needs, helping you navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
How I Work
I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helping you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns.
- Narrative Therapy: Encouraging you to rewrite the story you tell yourself about who you are and what’s possible for your life.
- Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP): Empowering you to reframe limiting beliefs and behaviors.
- Person-Centered Therapy: Providing a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your feelings at your own pace.
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Helping you embrace your thoughts and feelings while focusing on what truly matters.
- Play Therapy: Using creative methods to help children and teens express themselves and process emotions.
- Mindfulness: Teaching you to stay present and manage stress.
Client Focus
I work with individuals, children (ages 8+), teens, and adults. My experience also includes working with those facing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, burnout, self-esteem issues, and interpersonal relationship challenges. I have a special focus on neurodiversity such as ADHD, ASD, and ODD, and I support clients with learning and intellectual disabilities.
My Approach to Therapy
At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone has the potential to create a meaningful life with the right support. I’m here to help you build a stronger understanding of yourself, gain insights into your challenges, and make lasting changes that align with your values. I encourage you to lean into discomfort as a natural part of the healing process, which can lead to profound growth and self-discovery.
Experience You Can Trust
With a background as an Instructor Therapist and Educational Assistant, I’ve spent over four years building strong, empathetic connections with children, teens, and adults. This experience has shaped my ability to adapt my therapeutic approach to meet the needs of a wide range of clients, helping them feel understood and supported.
More Than Just My Work
When I’m not working, I enjoy buying books—though I’ve learned that actually reading them is a whole different hobby! This love for learning and growth extends into my professional life, where I continually seek to expand my knowledge and skills to better serve my clients.
If you’re ready to explore your emotions, gain clarity, and build a stronger, more fulfilling life, I’m here to help guide you on your journey. Together, we’ll create the space you need for growth and healing.
