How I Work

I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care. My approach is inclusive and affirming, with a special focus on 2SLGBTQIA+ care, ensuring that everyone feels respected and validated in their healing process.

With six years of experience as a crisis worker and case manager at the Canadian Mental Health Association Toronto, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through complex mental health challenges and societal oppression. This background has given me a deep understanding of the unique struggles people face, allowing me to approach therapy with an intersectional and anti-oppressive lens.

Beyond Therapy

Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my Havanese dog, Ollie. I find peace in nature, whether it’s gardening, practising yoga, or enjoying outdoor activities. My own focus on wellness—balancing mind, body, and spirit—shapes the way I approach therapy, ensuring that the healing process is holistic and deeply nourishing.
